No experience is necessary! We provide comprehensive training and support leading up to the competition, including personal development workshops, mock interviews, on-stage question preparation, walking rehearsals, wardrobe guidance and guidance on other requirements to participate. Our goal is to ensure that each delegate feels prepared, confident, supported and fully informed every step of the way.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (All Divisions)

Female
-
Single, with no legal dependents

Be living full-time as a resident of your state, or employed full-time in person or enrolled full-time as a student at an accredited school/college.
Miss America Division
-
Must be no older than 28 as of September 30, 2027
-
Must be at least 18 by September 1, 2027
Miss America’s Teen Division
-
Must be at least 14 by September 1, 2027
-
Must be no older than 18 as of September 30, 2027

Miss Kona Coffee’s Teen: 13-year-olds may compete if turning 14 by May/June 2026
Teen Additional Notes:
-
18-year old delegates are allowed to have a pivot year to decide whether they would like to compete in the Teen or Miss divisions - provided they meet the criteria.
-
Once an 18-year old decides on the division she may compete in, she may not change divisions until the next competition cycle.
